You can really tell, you have no clue how to run the machine. The "tooth guide" as you call it is refered to as a "finger". That finger has to be stationary with the head, it doesnt move with the table.

kind of late to the party, for a little over a year now. i have been an operator of this kind of blanchard. grinding ceramic and carbid tools with diamond wheels, trained a few to run these and it's been a fairly enjoyable job.

I have de same exact press brake. I have set up to do 3 different bends..but back gauge doesn't move to the second bend or 3er bend. It only moves when there's no metal bending..back gauge moves with no metal. but doesn't move when i wanna bend metal. Any coments on that why is mot working? Thanks.

Wow that is a nice bit of kit, hate to think how much that cost. Im thinking it should be in a separate room away from dust and dirt. I would love to have access to something like that for the few occasions I would need it.

Looks like a machine in first class condition. In my experience these machines are relatively compact and have a great work capacity . A must for any good machine shop . Great video

Love seeing the Bridgeport mills, all new and shiny. Not sure about the Clausing Colchester lathes though… I did my engineering apprenticeship in a small company on the South coast of England that supplied the original Colchester lathes, we made the complete saddle gearboxes (2 size variants), as well as top slides, compound slides and tailstocks. Weekly deliveries of the sub assemblies to Colchester Lathe co in Essex. Not sure how these Clausing ones compare, having never seen one in the flesh or used one. Would love one of those new Bridgeports though….gimmee!😜

That leblond lathe is noisy. Should be more quiet than that. 4/2/24

I have infeed taper issue, operator side is .0007 bigger than exit, the more I swivel and fix that. The taper will start to creep to a point where now my regulating wheel is far beyond work rest blade, and next pieces is just garbage.
